How does participating in a graduation ceremony help you emotionally mark the end of your student journey and prepare for what’s next?

I believe that the graduation ceremony will be a deeply emotional and significant moment for me, as it closes two important chapters in my life. One that was about growth, learning as a professional in my field, and one that was about getting to know myself better.

After years of studying, growing, and overcoming challenges, walking across the stage will symbolise everything I’ve worked for. It will be a moment to reflect on my journey and to celebrate the effort. Being surrounded by my professors, family and friends will remind me of the community that supported me, and I think that sense of shared achievement will give me strength and motivation for the future. Because at the same time, it won’t just be about closing chapters, but also about opening new doors, which fills me with just as much excitement and hope for the future.

What does it mean to you to be recognized publicly for your learning and accomplishment – and who do you feel you’re representing as you cross the stage?

Being publicly recognised for my learning and accomplishments will be a deeply meaningful experience for me. It will symbolise the years of dedication, challenges, and growth I’ve experienced. As I cross the stage, I won’t just be celebrating my own efforts, but also the incredible journey I’ve had at Corvinus. Beyond all of that, it will also symbolise the fact that I have become a professional in my field.

“When I walk across that stage, I’ll be representing not only my family and friends, but also Corvinus University and the values it instilled in me. I’ll carry those values with me into whatever comes next.”

– Krisztina Mészáros

At Corvinus, I had the chance to gain useful, modern, and up-to-date practical knowledge and skills that I truly believe will stand the test of time, both in everyday life and on the job market too. Studying at Corvinus has shaped me in so many ways. It taught me how to think critically, work in diverse teams, and stay open to new perspectives. So, when I walk across that stage, I’ll be representing not only my family and friends, but also Corvinus University and the values it instilled in me. I’ll carry those values with me into whatever comes next.

In a world where learning never really ends, what does ‘graduating’ mean to you – and what kind of impact do you want to make with what you’ve learned?

For me, graduating doesn’t mean the end of learning, I believe in lifelong-learning and continuous development. Graduating means reaching an important milestone in a lifelong journey. It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and recognise how far I’ve come. My years at Corvinus taught me that real learning goes far beyond textbooks: it’s about asking questions, thinking together, embracing change, and constantly evolving both as a person and as a professional.

With the knowledge and experience I have gained, I want to create value, not only in my field, but also in the communities I am part of. Whether it’s through innovative work, responsible decision-making or helping others grow, I hope to have a meaningful impact.

What is the single most memorable aspect of your studies that you will remember long after graduation?

The most memorable aspect of my studies will be the inspiring community I was part of at Corvinus. The conversations we had – both in and outside the classroom – challenged my thinking, broadened my perspective, and helped me grow not only as a student of communication and media science, but also as a person. I have met many inspiring and supportive people, not only among my classmates but also among my professors who become my friends.

Working on real-life projects, collaborating with classmates and learning from professors who truly cared about our development created an atmosphere that I’ll carry with me for a long time. It wasn’t just about academic achievement, it was about finding my voice, learning how to listen to others, how to express my thoughts properly and realising the power of meaningful, responsible communication. That is something I will never forget.
