12 New Business School Programmes To Watch In 2024

As the new year begins, so too do fresh new programmes from some of the world’s most prestigious business schools. 2024 is no exception, and business schools have worked hard to create bespoke programmes that will help their students develop a useful set of skills that will help them reach the next level in their careers.
Here is a selection of the best new bachelor’s, master’s, MBA and executive education business school programmes to watch out for in 2024:
NEOMA Business School: iLearning courses

The pull of Netflix can sometimes feel more compelling than studying. Luckily, at NEOMA Business School students won’t have to choose. The business school has launched three new iLearning courses, which are taught in a gameplay-like format. Using storytelling techniques not dissimilar to a Netflix series, students will be assigned a character and asked to make decisions and complete objectives.
“Our biggest competitors in online education are content streaming platforms. To compete, we must maintain high quality and appealing content and pedagogy while maximising the fun and the experience of learning,” says Alain Goudey, Associate Dean for Digital at NEOMA.
Aalto EE: Diploma in Cyber Security

Keeping on the tech theme, Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development has launched a Diploma in Cyber Security. Delivered in English, the programme is designed to equip executives with the skills and understanding to improve the cyber resilience of their organisations and manage the associated risks. The programme examines cybersecurity from different business and societal perspectives – exploring aspects of protecting firms’ finances and reputations, and employees’ emotional and psychological security.
“In today’s highly interconnected digital world, we need to ensure business continuity and the resilience of digital societies. Cyber security has become a competitive advantage and business capability. We all have a role to play in it,” said Aalto University School of Business’s Assistant Professor, Hadi Ghanbari.
King’s College London: Executive MBA

Today’s business graduates need to be equipped with both leadership skills, and an awareness of wider social and environmental challenges. King’s Business School, at King’s College London has recently launched a two-year Executive MBA programme that reflects society’s new expectations of business, particularly the urgent need to address problems like climate change.
The programme promises that graduates will be well-equipped to respond to complex challenges, have confidence in their management abilities and have a support network that will last a lifetime.

To do this, the programme combines insights from business ethics, sustainability and management. Students can expect modules to cover global ecosystems and planetary boundaries; sustainable corporate governance and ESG reporting.
“We firmly believe that business and society at large are in urgent need of graduates with the necessary skills and expertise to advance the sustainability transformation. We are excited to welcome these students, the future global business leaders, and empower them to make an impactful career,” says Dr. Maximilian Schormair, Assistant Professor in Business Ethics at Trinity Business School.
NHH Norwegian School of Economics: BSc in Business, Economics and Data Science

Individually, a bachelor in business, economics or data science would prepare students for a multitude of exciting careers, but what if you combined all three? NHH Norwegian School of Economics has launched a three-year programme which offers an economics education with a specialisation in technology and its application in the business world. The programme will cover data analysis, programming, more advanced mathematics, applied statistics and artificial intelligence will be central subjects. “This is a response to the need for specialist skills in working life and interest from existing and potential future students,” says NHH’s rector Øystein Thøgersen.
